kindaichi yutaro; living in miyagi in a small apartment on the second-floor of his building, currently working in electrical engineering, having completed his apprenticeship in saitama years ago. currently a middle blocker for division 2 professional volleyball league team, tamaden elephants.in his free time, kindaichi works out or completes housework if he isn’t out at practice or work; usually taking the time out of his day to run errands for his older neighbours, who he holds close friendships with.

kindaichi does not hold a good relationship with either of his parents, thanks to their lack of support and respect toward their son following his first year of highschool.in & out of home at 16, kindaichi had stayed predominantly with kunimi, his older sister, and their parents while he’d attempted to get back on his feet, still studying hard at school & continuing to play volleyball with aoba johsai even through these obstacles.since then, he’s lived alone in the same apartment and continued to live happily just like that, much better off with the people who loved him & supported him. though, it left him with anxiety issues, overwhelming amounts of nerves for things others usually wouldn’t bat an eye at— and a strong inability to stand up for himself, always choosing to endure whatever is thrown at him until he can ignore it. though—when he snaps, he really snaps. it takes a lot to push him over.graduating highshool as the captain of his aoba johsai in his third year, kindaichi had managed to stay on his feet and fare well, a steady plan for work and further studies to continue on. he’d entered university the very next year as a student in electrical engineering, alongside an apprenticeship as an electrician in saitama. since then, he’s also secured himself a spot in tamaden elephants as a middle blocker, thanks to scouting & recommendations.presently, he lives happily as he is, even if his anxieties and focus issues tend to hinder him some of the time. he stays loyal as always towards his friends, always trying to avoid any type of conflict between himself and anybody else.

𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵𝑺;- this guy has BIG anxiety! he really struggles to make friendships & hold conversation, & it takes a lot for him to finally feel comfortable with someone.- despite a rocky relationship with his parents, he is still in contact with his little brother. he’s a busy guy, but there’s always birthdays & holidays spent together.- due to his nature of work & previous studies, he has had to work hard with his hands & tools, & small/finicky work. he has developed arthritis in his hands, & has undergone one surgery to treat it. his workmates like to tease him with the name ‘doctor strange’.- he has only electrocuted himself TWICE in his career as an electrician! it’s a good record! and the source of some other fun nicknames.- along with anxiety comes some frustration issues. it takes a lot to get him to snap & yell, but once he does, it’s intense. he can hold a major grudge.
